By signing in to Engrammatica — on this site or from inside an AI assistant — or by using the service, you agree to these terms. They’re meant to be fair and readable.
The service
Engrammatica is young. It is offered as-is and as-available while in its early days. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may pause or end the service. Where a change meaningfully affects you, we’ll do our best to say so through the service or by email — but we can’t promise advance notice for everything.
Things will go wrong
This is early software, and we want to be plain about what that means: there will be bugs. The service may be slow, unavailable, or unstable at times. Despite real care on our part, your learning record could be delayed, garbled, or — in a bad week — lost, and we may occasionally need to reset or migrate data to fix or improve things. There is no uptime guarantee and no service-level commitment. Please don’t make Engrammatica the only record of anything you can’t afford to lose.
The tutoring itself
Lessons are generated by your own AI assistant, drawing on what Engrammatica remembers about your learning. AI systems make mistakes: explanations can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading, and a record of your progress can be imperfect. Nothing here is professional advice — medical, legal, financial, or otherwise. Verify anything that matters before you rely on it.
Your account & your learning
Keep your sign-in secure; you’re responsible for activity under your account. The learning you create is yours — you can erase all of it at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or these terms.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully. Don’t use it to harm others; don’t probe, overload, disrupt, or interfere with how it works; don’t attempt to reach data that isn’t yours.
Pricing
Engrammatica is free in its early days. We don’t collect payment information today. If that ever changes, you’ll hear it from us first, with time to decide — there will be no surprise charges.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service grows; the date above always reflects the current version. For material changes we’ll give notice through the service or by email. Using Engrammatica after a change means you accept the updated terms.
No warranty & liability
The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Engrammatica is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service; and our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you’ve paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, while the service is free, is nothing.
